Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

This policy explains how we use personal data on the Aimcove pre-launch website, including the beta waitlist and enquiries. It does not yet cover personal data processed inside a future Aimcove mobile application.

1. Who is responsible for your data?

The data controller is Jáchym Hudek, a sole trader established in the Czech Republic, operating the Aimcove pre-launch website.

Jáchym Hudek
Business identification number (IČO): 29518679
Poříční 193, 390 01 Tábor, Czech Republic
Email: support@aimcove.com

You may contact us at that email address with questions or requests about your personal data.

2. What information do we collect?

When you join the waitlist: your email address; whether you mainly intend to use Aimcove for Study, Work or Study & Work; your selected device platform (iPhone/iOS or Android); your optional interest in beta testing; and your registration source (such as this website).

We also process the information needed to manage your subscription, which may include the time of registration, consent and email confirmation status, confirmation records, subscription status, email delivery information, and unsubscribe requests.

When you browse the website: technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, request timestamps and security-related logs may be processed by the website hosting and security provider.

When you contact us: we process your email address, the message and any information you choose to send. Please do not include sensitive personal information in a waitlist registration.

3. Why do we use this information and on what legal basis?

Waitlist communications — consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). We use your registration to confirm your email address, manage the Aimcove waitlist, send development and launch updates, and contact you about potential closed beta access. We may use the preferences you provide to make these communications more relevant.

Website delivery, reliability and security — legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our legitimate interest is to provide an operational, secure website, prevent abuse and investigate technical failures. This may require processing technical request data.

Responding to enquiries — legitimate interests or pre-contractual steps (Articles 6(1)(f) or 6(1)(b) GDPR). We use information from messages to respond and handle your requests.

Compliance and claims — legal obligations or legitimate interests (Articles 6(1)(c) or 6(1)(f) GDPR). Limited records may be needed to demonstrate consent, respect objections and unsubscribe requests, meet legal duties or resolve disputes.

5. Who receives personal data?

Ecomail (ECOMAIL.CZ, s.r.o., Czech Republic): our email marketing and waitlist processor. Ecomail provides subscription records, double opt-in email confirmation, email delivery and mailing-list management. Its service may also provide delivery, opening and link-click statistics depending on the settings of individual email campaigns. More information is available in Ecomail's terms and data processing agreement.

Cloudflare, Inc.: our website infrastructure, content delivery and security provider. Cloudflare also forwards incoming messages sent to our support address to our Gmail inbox. It processes technical requests and security information needed to operate the site. See Cloudflare's data processing addendum.

Google (Gmail): we use Gmail to read and reply to enquiries forwarded from our support@aimcove.com address through Cloudflare Email Routing. Replies may come from our Gmail address. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Access to personal data may also be provided where required by law or to professional advisers where genuinely necessary and legally justified. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

6. Transfers outside the EEA

Some of these providers or their subprocessors may process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.

Where a transfer requires additional safeguards under GDPR, the applicable mechanism may include an adequacy decision or European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses, as appropriate to the provider and transfer. You may ask us for more information about the applicable arrangements using the contact details above.

7. How long do we keep information?

Confirmed waitlist registrations: we retain the data while you remain subscribed and the Aimcove pre-launch waitlist and related launch communications are being operated. When that purpose ends, we will remove information that is no longer needed, or seek any new consent necessary for a different mailing purpose.

Unconfirmed requests: we retain them only for the period needed to complete or resolve the email confirmation process, prevent abuse and maintain necessary records, subject to the retention and cleanup arrangements used in Ecomail.

Unsubscribed contacts: we stop sending consent-based communications. Limited unsubscribe or consent-history records may remain where necessary to prevent unwanted emails or demonstrate legal compliance; those records are not used for marketing.

Technical data and enquiries: retained only for the operational, security, communication or legal purpose for which they are needed. The exact availability of website request logs depends on Cloudflare's service settings and retention practices. We delete records when the relevant purpose and any applicable legal requirement have ended.

8. Your privacy rights

Subject to the conditions of applicable law, you can ask us to access, correct, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data, object to certain processing, and receive a portable copy where the right to data portability applies. You may withdraw consent at any time.

To make a request, email support@aimcove.com. We generally respond within one month, subject to extensions permitted by GDPR. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Our lead authority in the Czech Republic is the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ).

9. Cookies, fonts and tracking

The current pre-launch website does not intentionally include third-party advertising pixels or optional visitor analytics scripts in its application code. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technical mechanisms to provide website security and abuse protection where those features are active.

The Manrope typeface is served locally from this website. Normal page loading therefore does not require contacting Google Fonts. Email communications managed through Ecomail may generate delivery and interaction statistics depending on campaign configuration.

If we add optional analytics, advertising cookies or other non-essential tracking in the future, we will update this information and, where legally required, obtain consent before those technologies are used.

10. How do we protect information?

We use encrypted HTTPS connections, access restrictions and selected service providers' technical and organisational security measures. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

The pre-launch waitlist is not intended to collect personal data from children who cannot validly consent to this processing under the law that applies to them. If you believe a child has registered without any required authorisation, please contact us.

12. Automated decisions

We may group registrations by the selected use case, platform or interest in beta testing to organise communications. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals through this waitlist.

13. Updates and contact

We may revise this policy when our services, providers or processing activities change. The latest version and its update date will be published here. If a change requires new consent, we will request it before relying on that consent.

For any privacy question or request, write to support@aimcove.com.
